1. Removable Wallpaper - Easy to apply, remove, reposition, and reuse without leaving damage or residue, contact paper is a top tool for any renter wanting to jazz up their home. Available in a never-ending selection of colours, styles and patterns.
2. Wall stickers and/or decals - Unlike some of the other rental-friendly decorating ideas out there, these are a great option if creativity isn't your greatest strength but still want to add some unique touches to your property.
3. Velcro Strips – These are especially handy if you have multiple pictures or paintings you want to hand on your walls without worrying about your landlord being bothered with you hammering nails into their walls.
4. Plywood - Using plywood is a great way to save money. It's relatively inexpensive and you can have the store cut it for you if you don't have the tools at home. You can even ask friends for their scraps. Free is always better.
